Barbara Kirsop (1919-2022)
Please announce that "with much regret WFCC would like to inform its members the passing of former WFCC President Barbara Kirsop". We share her obituary with ECCO (https://www.eccosite.org/2022/03/17/barbara-kirsop-1919-2022/)
and acknowledge her immense contributions to the WFCC as the first female President (WFCC History at https://wfcc.info/about_view). She will be sorely missed.

One of the co-founders and first president of ECCO has passed away. She died on the 27 th of January, at the age of 93. We owe the very existence of ECCO to visionary scientists like Barbara Kirsop.
